2021년 9월 29일 한국에 기반을 둔 디지털 약품 물류 허브인 CCP(Cold Chain Platform)에서 제약 산업을 위한 새로운 GDP(Good Distribution Practice) 지원 방안을 소개하는 워크숍을 진행합니다.

2021년 7월 유럽에서 성공적으로 개최된 입문 워크숍에 이어 2021년 8월 24일 런던에서 영국 표준 기관(BSI)과 포세이돈은 한국의 CCP(Cold Chain Platform)와 협력하여 MMCS(Multi-Mode Compliance & Standards) 아시아 태평양 지역의 제약 제조업체 및 약품 물류 파트너에 대한 GDP 프로그램을 마련했습니다.

BSI(British Standards Institution)와 포세이돈 약물 물류 네트워크 간의 파트너십인 MMCS 프로그램은 보편적인 GDP 표준, 효율적인 품질의 개발을 옹호하는 명시적인 목표를 가진 글로벌 ‘최초’ 이니셔티브 이며, 관리 시스템, 상호 인정된 평가 계획, 공급망 모범 사례 및 전문적인 GDP 지침을 제공합니다.

Team Poseidon Ltd의 이사인 Alan Kennedy는 다음과 같이 설명합니다. “MMCS는 보편적인 GDP 표준을 구축할 수 있는 항공, 해상, 육상 등 모든 방식의 대량 제약 및 백신 운송을 위한 협력 기반을 제공하기 위해 고안되었습니다. 바이러스 시대에 더 안전하고 효율적이며 규정을 준수하는 필수 의약품의 운송을 위해 GDP 지침이 필요합니다.”

Good distribution practice (GDP) describes the minimum standards that a wholesale distributor must meet to ensure that the quality and integrity of medicines is maintained throughout the supply chain. Compliance with GDP ensures that: • medicines in the supply chain are authorised in accordance with European Union (EU) legislation; • medicines are stored in the right conditions at all times, including during transportation; • contamination by or of other products is avoided; • an adequate turnover of stored medicines takes place; • the right products reach the right addressee within a satisfactory time period.
