• New and updated figures for Code Jurisdictional Limits on Piping to align with ASME BPVC Section I, Rules for Construction of Power Boilers.
• Expanded definitions for ferrous material; indication, linear indication; indication, rounded indication; maintenance; nonferrous; post weld hydrogen bakeout; and volumetric examination.
• Analysis of Piping Components, Application of Forces and Moments completely revised. Stress equation modifications to incorporate Stress Intensification Factors from B31J, Standard Heat Treatments for Fabrication Processes, into Chapter II, Design, and Appendix G, Nomenclature.
• Update Design Conditions to align with ASME B31.3, Process Piping.
• Addition of B31P, Standard Heat Treatments for Fabrication Processes, as an alternative for heat treatment and minimum preheat requirements.
